Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract position focused on support and growth for students in an educational setting near Waukegan, IL. Make an impact as a valued School Psychologist by working collaboratively with educators, families, and pupils to foster students' emotional, academic, and social development.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Experience providing psychological assessments, counseling, and interventions in a school environment Strong knowledge of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and special education processes Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for K-12 students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to design student-centered interventions and promote educational success Provide crisis intervention and support as needed Participate in eligibility determination meetings, staff consultations, and professional development Foster a positive, inclusive environment for all students
