Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels for the 2026-2027 school year. As a credentialed School Psychologist licensed in Illinois, you'll play a crucial role from August 26, 2026 through June 11, 2027, engaging full-time, Monday through Friday. Multiple positions are available, offering the chance to work with early childhood or K-4 age groups. For early childhood, responsibilities focus on screenings and evaluations for children turning three or transitioning from early intervention, along with evaluation requests for children aged 3-5. This position involves traveling between three local preschools, collaborating closely with families—many new to special education—as well as educational and team partners. Strong communication and working knowledge of early childhood evaluations and best practices are essential. The K-4 psychologist position involves conducting student evaluations, facilitating MTSS data team meetings, supporting the IEP process, and problem-solving with staff and families. This role requires exceptional communication skills, proficiency with special education law, and the ability to support both initial IEP meetings and re-evaluations.
Qualifications:
Valid Illinois School Psychologist license Experience with eligibility meetings, reevaluations, functional behavioral assessments, and initial evaluations Strong knowledge of special education law and best practices Effective communicator with diverse student, family, and staff populations Ability to travel locally as needed (for early childhood) Your expertise will support meaningful educational outcomes while you work alongside passionate professionals and families.
