Job Description

An onsite opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist in Avon, IN, to support special education services within a school district. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, providing a structured workweek with direct engagement in student-centered special education evaluations. Key Responsibilities Conduct approximately 70 psychoeducational evaluations annually, working across three different school buildings. Collaborate closely with school staff and families to address student needs and facilitate appropriate educational planning. Participate actively in monthly team meetings to coordinate services and discuss student progress. Ensure full compliance with special education laws and regulations. Report directly to the district supervisor for guidance and oversight. Qualifications And Experience Valid Indiana School Psychologist license is required. Experience in performing psychoeducational assessments and making eligibility determinations preferred. Strong understanding of special education law and compliance issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with educators, families, and administrators.
