Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a school community by providing expert psychological services to support student success. This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate and skilled professional who thrives in educational settings, working collaboratively with educators, parents, and students to foster a positive learning environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting assessments, interpreting results, and developing individualized intervention plans Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding special education Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) is a plus
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations for students, including cognitive, academic, social, and behavioral assessments Interpret assessment data and participate in eligibility determination meetings Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention strategies Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative support to students in need Provide recommendations to enhance learning environments and address student barriers to success Assist in the development and implementation of prevention programs that foster safe, supportive, and inclusive school communities
