Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting contract opportunity for an experienced School Psychologist available with an academic calendar spanning from August 5, 2026, through May 19, 2027. This onsite position offers the chance to work closely with students, educators, and families in a supportive educational environment located near Columbus, IN. As the primary professional responsible for special education evaluations, you will serve a vital role supporting students across three school buildings. Your expertise will help drive educational success through accurate assessments, collaborative team participation, and comprehensive support of the district's mission.
Key Qualifications:
Valid license to practice School Psychology in Indiana Experience administering psychoeducational assessments and determining eligibility for special education services is highly desirable Thorough knowledge of special education law and regulatory compliance Strong collaboration skills for working with staff, district teams, and families Ability to manage multiple responsibilities across varied age groups and building assignments
Responsibilities:
Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations throughout the school year Work onsite at three different educational buildings Report directly to the district supervisor and participate in monthly team meetings Communicate findings and recommendations to educators and families, ensuring student needs drive intervention planning Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all compliance standards This role provides the unique opportunity to use your experience and training to positively influence the learning and growth of students in a dynamic school setting, all while building lasting professional relationships.
