Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting students across three buildings in a dynamic educational setting near Edinburgh, IN. This onsite-only position spans the academic year from August 5, 2026, to May 19, 2027, with hours from Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM. As a valued member of the team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring students receive the support and guidance they need to thrive.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hold a valid license to practice School Psychology in Indiana Expertise in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination is highly valued In-depth knowledge of special education law, compliance, and best practices Skilled collaborator, able to communicate effectively with staff and families Prior experience working within a school system is preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Complete approximately 70 special education evaluations annually Offer professional support across three buildings, working closely with educators and administration Engage in monthly team meetings and report to the district supervisor Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to develop action plans tailored to student needs Uphold all requirements for special education, ensuring accurate and timely evaluations Step into a position where your expertise will make a meaningful difference, fostering both professional growth and positive educational outcomes.
