Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding school-based contract assignment as a full-time School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position offers the chance to make a significant difference across grade levels, supporting students in Pre-K through high school within a collaborative educational setting. Working a consistent 7.5-hour day schedule, you'll play an integral role in helping students thrive both academically and emotionally.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist (NCSP welcomed) Experience working with diverse caseloads, including Pre K, elementary, middle, and high school populations Strong knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support, assessment tools, and best practices for school-based psychological services Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling to support the social-emotional needs of students in Pre K through high school Conduct psychoeducational assessments, behavioral evaluations, and crisis interventions Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to develop effective interventions and supports Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and consult on special education eligibility decisions Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all professional standards and legal regulations Consult with teachers and administrators on best practices for behavior and academic support Unlock the potential to enhance young minds and contribute positively within the school community.
