Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take your expertise in school psychology to a collaborative educational setting serving students near Nashville, IN! A rewarding contract role is open for a dedicated School Psychologist to support students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Working onsite across three school buildings, you will play a crucial role in student evaluation and advocacy, reporting directly to the district supervisor and engaging in dynamic team meetings.
Key Qualifications:
Active Indiana School Psychologist license required Solid background in psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determinations, with prior school-based experience preferred Comprehensive knowledge of special education law, compliance, and best practices Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families Strong communication skills and a student-centered approach
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct approximately 70 special education evaluations throughout the school year Provide assessment, consultation, and linkage services across three school sites Participate in monthly meetings with the district team to review progress, share recommendations, and coordinate services Collaborate with staff and families to address student needs and implement appropriate educational plans Maintain timely, thorough documentation in accordance with program requirements Serve as a resource on compliance and eligibility for school staff Available onsite, Monday through Friday, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, this role offers the opportunity for meaningful impact in a supportive, team-based environment.
