Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting Pre K-12 students as a contracted school psychologist for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time opportunity offers 7.5-hour workdays and the chance to provide essential services across elementary, middle, and high school levels. Collaborate with dedicated educators and families to foster student success and well-being.
Qualifications:
Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Valid and current license or certification as a school psychologist Experience with diverse student populations, preferably Pre K through 12th grade Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education processes, and intervention strategies Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities across developmental age groups
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for Pre K-12 students Participate as a key member of multi-disciplinary teams (including IEP, RTI, and 504 meetings) Provide crisis interventions and consultative services to support student mental health Develop and implement intervention plans to bolster academic, emotional, and behavioral growth Counsel students individually and in groups to address needs impacting school performance Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive learning environments Contribute to preventive initiatives and staff training on relevant psychological topics Enjoy the rewarding experience of empowering students to excel both academically and personally in a dynamic, multi-level school setting.
