POSITION SUMMARY
To provide comprehensive school psychological services to assigned buildings, including coordination of multi-disciplinary team evaluations and consultation with school staff/parents regarding a variety of educationally related issues, including the implementation of research based interventions.
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR
Supervisor of Psychological Services Building Administrator DUTIES:
Coordinate multi-disciplinary team evaluations on students referred in public, and non-public schools. Conduct appropriate informal, curriculum-based, and/or standardized assessments, in accordance with federal and state law, and local policies/procedures, within mandated timelines. Utilize all information, including understanding of student background and characteristics to inform instruction, intervention and service delivery decisions. Prepare (type) comprehensive written multidisciplinary team reports on all students evaluated. Complete required components of Indiana IEP. Attend case conferences within mandated timelines to interpret evaluation results to parents and school staff. Work collaboratively with Special Education administrators, general and special education staff, principals, and support staff in assigned buildings/districts. Provide technical assistance to the building staff/administrators regarding special education policies and procedures, etc., as needed. Consult with building staff and parents regarding curriculum and instructional practices for academic, social/emotional and behavioral domains. Participate in general education intervention/student assistance team meetings and assist teams in selecting/implementing research-based interventions appropriate to students' individual needs. Provide in-service training for school staff, parents, and/or the community regarding educational psychology issues. Depending on training, conduct individual and/or group counseling for students (e.g. social skills training, conflict resolution, anger control, crisis intervention, etc). Participate in staff development and professional growth opportunities through attendance at staff meetings, inservices, conferences, etc. Engage in consultation and collaboration with community agencies for the purposes of student assessment and delivery of services. Complete other duties, as assigned by Supervisor of Psychological Services.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required experience or training: State of Indiana Professional Educator's License-School Psychologist Desired experience or training: Applicant must have a history of meeting mandated timelines Works in standard office and school building environments.
