Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding opportunity as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Trafalgar, IN. This contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, providing you with the chance to make a tangible impact on students' lives while collaborating with dedicated professionals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Indiana School Psychologist license required Experience with psychoeducational assessments and eligibility determination is highly desirable In-depth knowledge of special education law and compliance standards Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff and families to create supportive educational environments Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct special education evaluations—approximately 70 per academic year Serve multiple buildings, offering expertise and guidance across the district Participate in monthly team meetings and report directly to the district supervisor Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to support individualized student needs Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal and state regulations Promote best practices in psychological services to foster student growth and well-being This role offers a traditional Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM, with all work conducted onsite for consistent interaction with students and faculty.
