Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dynamic educational setting! We are seeking a dedicated professional to serve as a School Psychologist for a contract assignment during the 2026-2027 school year. You'll collaborate closely with K-12 students and faculty, providing expertise across multiple campuses—all located within a convenient 20-minute radius of Emporia, KS. This onsite role offers the opportunity to positively influence a diverse student population while working in an engaging and supportive atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
Active and valid Kansas School Psychologist license required Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school or educational cooperative Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Ability to travel between assigned schools as needed Commitment to fostering inclusive, student-centered environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students Develop and support implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consult with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop intervention strategies Provide crisis intervention and support as necessary Participate in team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision-making Advocate for students' academic, social, and emotional well-being
