Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting students' educational journeys as a contract School Psychologist in the Auburn, KS region. This contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year, with flexible arrangements possible for grade level and caseload to suit your strengths and meet district needs.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active Kansas School Psychologist license is required Experience conducting school-based psychological assessments and re-evaluations, preferably at the high school level Strong understanding of educational law and special education processes Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective interventions Passion for empowering students to achieve academic, social, and emotional growth
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and oversee high school re-evaluations, responding to the district's primary need Interpret assessment findings, write detailed reports, and participate in eligibility meetings Consult with staff, students, and families regarding learning and behavioral challenges Contribute expertise to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement intervention strategies Support a positive, inclusive learning environment while serving as an advocate for student well-being Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with legal guidelines This contract offers an engaging opportunity to shape student futures and refine your skills working alongside passionate educators.
