Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Ready to make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students' growth and well-being? An exciting contract opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist with a passion for collaboration and fostering positive student outcomes. This role covers a range of schools primarily near Emporia, KS, with short commutes to other nearby districts—all assignments are within a 20-minute drive. You'll become an integral part of educational teams, providing a wide variety of psychological services directly in school settings. The assignment runs from August 20, 2026, through May 20, 2027, and offers the chance to work a consistent 37.5-hour workweek in a dynamic, supportive environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active Kansas School Psychologist license required Experience working within K-12 settings strongly preferred Ability to travel between multiple sites in the local area Excellent communication, consultation, and interpersonal skills Organized, flexible, and comfortable handling diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and assessments to guide educational plans Develop and implement interventions supporting students' social, emotional, and academic success Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' individualized needs Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP meetings Provide crisis response and guidance for students as needed Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district requirements
