School Psych | Gardner, Kansas Gardner, KS Job Details Full-time | Contract 7 hours ago Qualifications School psychology Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This full-time School Psychologist position in Gardner, KS, offers the opportunity to work in a high school setting serving grades 9-12 during the 2026-2027 school year. The role is a contract position running from approximately August 13, 2026, through May 21, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations to assess student needs. Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop effective intervention plans. Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support students with disabilities. Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as necessary. Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid Kansas School Psychologist license is required. Experience working in a high school environment preferred. Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and educational laws. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
