Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting students' success for the 2026/27 school year. This contract position is designed for a dedicated School Psychologist seeking to make a meaningful impact in a middle school setting. Located in the Ottawa, KS area, this opportunity offers both full-time and part-time scheduling, along with a flexible hybrid day each week reserved for focused report writing.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist Demonstrated experience working with middle school students, preferred Strong skills in assessment, counseling, and the development of behavior/academic interventions Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with students, educators, and families Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with state and federal guidelines
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments for middle school students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to design and track student support strategies Offer staff development or training on student mental health and learning support Maintain accurate documentation and timely report writing (with one remote/hybrid day weekly)
