Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students in grades 6-8 as a School Psychologist. This position begins August 6, 2026, and continues through May 20, 2027. You'll have the opportunity to work full-time in a dynamic educational environment, providing essential mental health and academic support to a school community of approximately 500 students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid School Psychologist certification (or eligibility for certification) Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or closely related field Experience working with middle school-age populations (grades 6-8 preferred) Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams Familiarity with IEP processes, behavioral interventions, and daily documentation
Your Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and consultation services as needed Offer expertise in positive behavioral interventions and supports Maintain accurate and confidential student records Assist in fostering a safe and inclusive school climate This full-time opening offers a unique chance to make a measurable difference in the lives of middle school students, helping to shape their academic and personal growth.
