A contract opportunity is available for a dedicated School Psychologist near Topeka, KS, running from August 6, 2026, through May 21, 2027. This position offers flexibility in grade level and caseload, with a particular emphasis on high school re-evaluations—the district's most pressing need. Qualifications:
Active Kansas School Psychologist license required Proven experience conducting and interpreting psychological assessments in educational settings Strong understanding of special education laws, eligibility processes, and compliance documentation Familiarity with high school re-evaluation procedures highly preferred Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities:
Administer and interpret a variety of psychoeducational evaluations, primarily high school re-evaluations Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as an expert resource Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student academic and behavioral challenges Provide recommendations and support intervention planning for diverse student needs Maintain thorough and compliant documentation aligned with district and state guidelines This contract position allows you to broaden your professional portfolio, enjoy exposure to a diverse student population, and take advantage of the district's flexibility in scheduling and caseload assignment.
