Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity where your expertise as a School Psychologist will positively impact the lives of middle school students. Starting in August 2026 and continuing through May 2027, you'll work full-time within a thriving educational community, serving a school population of approximately 500 students in grades 6 through 8. Your talent for assessment, counseling, and collaboration will be vital as you partner with students, educators, and families to support learning and emotional well-being. This position offers a highly rewarding experience for those dedicated to fostering resilience, growth, and academic progress among young adolescents. Desired Background and Experience Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience supporting middle school students (grades 6-8) is preferred Solid foundation in educational assessments, behavior intervention, and counseling Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to consult and collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Familiarity with special education processes and documentation Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and write reports Help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed Offer consultation and training for teachers related to student behavioral and learning challenges Support the creation of a positive, inclusive school climate Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and work collaboratively to determine appropriate interventions Maintain thorough, timely, and confidential student records Take advantage of a contract role that allows you to make a lasting difference while working with a supportive professional community.
