Elementary Middle School School Psychologist - Lexington, Kentucky Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Lexington, KY Job Details Contract 16 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Active Kentucky School Psychologist license required Previous experience working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings preferred Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities Familiarity with evidence-based practices and
MTSS/RTI
frameworks
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group assessments to inform educational and behavioral interventions Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to students as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective strategies for student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of 504 and special education plans Support implementation of school-wide behavior management programs Offer professional development and consultative support for staff regarding student needs Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies As you take on this rewarding contract role, you'll have the opportunity to positively influence the educational trajectory of students at critical stages of their development.
