Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in School Psychology (required) Active Kentucky school psychologist license Experience working with students in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and counseling Proficiency in collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams Excellent communication and documentation abilities Adaptability to work with varied age groups and learning needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support individualized education plan (IEP) development Provide direct counseling services and interventions for students facing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges Collaborate with educators, families, and administrative staff to design and implement strategies that promote student success Consult with teachers on classroom behavior management and instructional modifications Maintain accurate records and create detailed evaluation reports Participate actively in IEP meetings and help shape data-driven decisions for students Offer crisis intervention and support as needed within the school community This contract position allows you to immerse yourself in a rewarding educational environment where your skills are valued and your contributions foster positive change.
