Job Description

TITLE:
Intern School Psychologist
QUALIFICATIONS
Must be enrolled in NASP accredited school Psychologist program and ready to begin internship.
REPORTS TO
Director of Special Education
JOB GOAL
The Intern School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services under supervision, with a primary emphasis on psychoeducational assess- ments.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and terms of employment according to approved salary schedules
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts psychoeducational evaluations for initial referrals and reevaluations across grade levels. Administers scores, and interprets standardized cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional measures. Integrates multiple data source (record reviews, interviews, observations, rating scales) into cohesive reports. Participates in eligibility determination meetings and presents findings to multidisciplinary teams. Collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs. Receives regular individual supervision from a certified school psychologist. Performs other duties as assigned.
