Job Description

Overview Provide behavioral health services within a school setting, supporting children and adolescents through assessment, therapy, and coordination with school staff and families. This role emphasizes accessibility, collaboration, and continuity of care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for children and adolescents (and adults as appropriate) Provide ongoing individual therapy using evidence-based approaches Develop diagnostic impressions and implement individualized treatment plans Monitor progress and support transition/termination planning based on clinical need Collaborate with school personnel, families, and internal teams to coordinate care Support planning and implementation of treatment and school-based programming Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with organizational, state, and federal standards Provide counseling, referrals, and resource coordination for students and families Participate in staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings Maintain active communication with community partners to support service access Work within a team-based model to ensure comprehensive, student-centered care Uphold professional ethics, confidentiality, and quality of care standards Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines Complete additional duties as assigned by leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Must be Licensure Eligible in the state of Kentucky of be licensed as a LPCA, LPCC, CSW, LCSW, MFTA, LMFTA, etc. Must have a valid Kentucky motor vehicle operator's license.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to evaluate needs of clients. Knowledge of overall objectives and treatment concepts. Knowledge of rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the care and treatment mental/behavior disorders and/or intellectually disabled. Good verbal and written skills; patience and flexibility. Ability to maintain accurate records and reports. Ability to communicate with others in a professional manner. An eclectic knowledge base.
