Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment as a School Psychologist, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on students' academic and emotional well-being. This contract opportunity is available for the upcoming school year, with a full-time schedule exclusively onsite. Your skills in psychology and experience working within schools allow you to provide essential support for students, families, and staff. You'll collaborate closely with educators to identify student needs, implement interventions, and foster a supportive, inclusive school community.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology State licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school settings preferred Strong assessment, evaluation, and counseling skills Familiarity with developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilitiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to create effective support strategies Contribute to multidisciplinary teams in determining special education eligibility Develop prevention and intervention programs that promote student success Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations This role allows you to engage daily with students and staff, delivering services that shape positive educational outcomes.
