Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Join a dedicated team serving the educational community in Pittsfield, MA, as a full-time school psychologist supporting K-12 students. This contract position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on student well-being and academic success through comprehensive psychological services in an onsite school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral needs Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' mental health Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives promoting positive learning environments Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to ensure effective support
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or license as a school psychologist Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work onsite full-time and manage a caseload of multiple students across grade levels
