Job Description

Flexible part-time opportunity working Mon - Fri

JOB SUMMARY

The Neuropsychology Technician supports licensed neuropsychologists in the administration, scoring, and documentation of standardized neuropsychological assessments. This role involves working directly with patients to administer standardized tests, ensuring accurate examination using the standardized format and score test based on standardized protocols. Technicians must respect the importance of maintaining standardization and maintaining a high standard of patient care and confidentiality.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

Previous experience administering standardized tests preferred. Experience working with older adults preferred.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field required. Coursework in psychological assessment or neuropsychology is preferred.

Licensure & Certifications:

None.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong writing skills. Ability to speak clearly and slowly. Ability to be patient with challenging, forgetful and often anxious patients. Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Ability to follow structured protocols with high accuracy. Proficiency with computers, data entry, and EMR systems. Ability to maintain confidentiality and always demonstrate professionalism.
