Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students and educators as a contracted School Psychologist in the vibrant Pittsfield area. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the K-12 population, with multiple roles available based on your preference and expertise. Whether you're interested in onsite or virtual (VOCO) assignments, there's flexibility to shape your ideal placement.
Preferred skills and experience:
Current certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working with K-12 students in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff Proficient in conducting assessments, developing interventions, and providing counseling Comfortable working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Adaptable to in-person or virtual work environments Core responsibilities: Complete comprehensive psychological and academic assessments Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and administrators to create support plans Deliver individual and group counseling to promote emotional and social growth Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to eligibility and placement decisions Maintain timely and accurate documentation and case files Provide crisis intervention and consult on behavior management strategies as needed Enjoy the flexibility of a contract position suited to your lifestyle and preferences.
