Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A public school district in Pittsfield, MA is seeking full-time School Psychologists to provide essential support services for students across K-12 grade levels. This is an onsite, contract position with multiple openings available. Candidates can specify their preferred grade level focus, whether working with elementary, middle, or high school students. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, collaborating with educators and families, and providing counseling and support to help address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The psychologist will play a vital role in promoting a positive learning environment and ensuring compliance with state and federal special education regulations.
Key Qualifications:
Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience performing psychoeducational evaluations and developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong skills in behavior assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff Excellent communication and organizational skills
