Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity where your expertise as a School Psychologist will make a difference for K-12 students in a supportive environment. This role offers the chance to collaborate closely with educators and families to foster student well-being and academic progress throughout the school year. What we're looking for: Active Maryland School Psychologist license required Experience working with K-12 student populations Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills Commitment to supporting a positive, inclusive educational community Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Flexible and adaptable to the varied needs of students and staff Key responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments for students across K-12 grades Develop and implement evidence-based interventions and support strategies Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Consult with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success Provide crisis intervention and counseling as needed Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to a collaborative culture This onsite, full-time position offers an engaging calendar from late August through early June (37.5 hours/week), providing valuable experience in a welcoming, student-focused district.
