Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in students' lives while expanding your expertise as a School Psychologist in a supportive K-12 environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with faculty and families while working onsite in a welcoming district near Easton, MD. You'll enjoy a set schedule during the academic year, allowing you to foster growth, inclusivity, and academic success for all students.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and active Maryland School Psychologist License (required) Prior experience working with K-12 students, preferably in school settings Strong ability to conduct assessments, interpret data, and implement evidence-based interventions Excellent communication and collaboration skills for partnering with educators, families, and support staff Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning atmosphere
Key Responsibilities:
Administer psychological assessments, interpret results, and provide recommendations tailored to student needs Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create and implement intervention and support plans Participate in IEP meetings, prepare comprehensive reports, and assist with eligibility determinations Deliver counseling and crisis intervention to students individually or in groups as needed Engage with students, parents, and staff to promote mental wellness and academic achievement
