Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a real difference in the lives of students by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to a vibrant educational community. This contract opportunity allows you to apply your passion for student advocacy, assessment, and guidance in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting assessment results Strong understanding of IEP processes, 504 plans, and Response to Intervention (RTI) Excellent communication and organization skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Previous school-based experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and individual student evaluations Participate in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contribute to 504 meetings Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support students' academic, social, and emotional development Provide direct and consultative services for students, including counseling and behavioral interventions Assist in crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school community Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of school psychology
