Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. In this position, you'll divide your time across two schools, building strong connections and offering consistent support. With a steady 35-hour workweek, you'll have the structure to focus on in-depth assessments, effective interventions, and student advocacy, all while enjoying work-life balance throughout the academic year (NSY 26/27).
What you bring:
Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience working within school settings strongly preferred Skill in conducting comprehensive student evaluations and developing tailored intervention plans Ability to provide counseling, consultation, and crisis support Strong communication and collaboration abilities for partnering with educators, families, and related service providers Dedication to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments Your responsibilities: Serve as an onsite resource at two schools, addressing academic, emotional, and behavioral student needs Administer assessments and contribute to IEP, 504, and intervention planning Deliver targeted counseling and guidance to students individually and in small groups Engage with teams to conduct data-driven decision-making and program evaluations Offer crisis prevention and response support as needed Communicate regularly with families, teachers, and administrators to support student well-being If you are ready to make a positive, lasting difference in students' academic journeys, this school-based psychologist contract is the perfect opportunity.
