Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for licensed School Psychologists near Ellicott City, MD, serving students in a well-respected school district for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers the chance to work on-site alongside a collaborative team dedicated to providing quality support and services.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's or PhD in School Psychology Valid certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist Previous experience in school settings preferred Ability to fulfill time-sensitive credentialing requirements, including compliance with House Bill 486 (background check, fingerprinting, and employment history review) Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to student well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments Offer counseling, interventions, and crisis prevention services to students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support each child's educational plan Develop and guide implementation of behavioral management and intervention strategies Support multidisciplinary teams in special education eligibility determinations Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state standards This contract assignment covers the full academic calendar, starting August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027, with a standard workweek of 37.5 hours. A prescreen interview may be conducted prior to final interviews, and coordinators will provide available times for interviews following June 10th or 11th. Site assignment details and caseload specifics will be determined and communicated as they are finalized.
