Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities await for School Psychologists passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives. This contract position, spanning from August 2026 through June 2027, offers an engaging K-12 caseload within a district known for its supportive environment. Qualifications:
Current and active Maryland School Psychologist License (required) Experience working with K-12 student populations preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct psychological services and assessments to students across K-12 grades Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) Consult with educators, parents, and support staff to promote students' academic and emotional success Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed Maintain timely and accurate documentation to meet compliance standards Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and collaborative planning
