Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role providing critical support to students as an onsite School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive K-12 environment, collaborating closely with educators and families to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional growth. With a committed caseload and structured weekly hours, you'll make a meaningful impact throughout the academic year.
Qualifications:
Current and active Maryland School Psychologist License (required) Previous experience working in K-12 school settings preferred Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling for diverse student populations Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt services and strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, interventions, and counseling for K-12 students Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide crisis intervention and support for students as needed Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for student success Maintain student records and documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive, collaborative school culture
