Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school district in Rock Hall, MD, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2025-2026 school year with potential for contract renewal. This full-time position also offers flexibility for part-time candidates interested in supporting students across multiple grade levels in a supportive educational environment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations covering cognitive, social/emotional/behavioral, and adaptive domains, as well as Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs). The role requires participation in IEP and SST meetings and may involve providing counseling support if needed, although there are currently no students identified for counseling services from the school psychologist. This position involves assignments across three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school, with work schedules preferably Monday through Friday from either 7:20 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Maryland certification as a School Psychologist is required Preferred experience in school psychology or related educational settings Ability to perform a range of assessments and participate effectively in IEP and SST meetings Strong interpersonal and communication skills
