School Psych - Towson, Maryland Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Towson, MD Job Details Full-time | Contract $30.00 - $76.22 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a school psychologist Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract assignment as a School Psychologist in the Baltimore area, where your expertise will support local students and educators for the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll have the opportunity to work on-site, collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to foster positive academic and emotional outcomes. This engaging position runs from August 31, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and requires a commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Master's or PhD in School Psychology Active certification or state licensure in School Psychology Experience with K-12 student populations preferred Ability to complete district-specific background checks, fingerprinting, and House Bill 486 employment history review Flexible, collaborative approach and effective communication skills Willingness to undergo an internal "prescreen" interview prior to placement
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, assessments, and reports Develop, implement, and review interventions and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Provide crisis intervention and counseling Support data-driven decision making for student interventions and progress monitoring Maintain detailed records while ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Engage in professional development as needed
