Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into an impactful contract role in the Baltimore area providing essential support as a school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity calls for passionate professionals dedicated to promoting the social-emotional and academic well-being of students. You'll be working on-site, actively collaborating with educators and families to create a positive school environment.
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current state certification/licensure to practice as a school psychologist In-depth understanding of child and adolescent development Experience completing psychological evaluations, assessments, and developing intervention recommendations Strong collaboration and communication skills working with multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt to different school settings and caseloads as assigned Willingness to complete time-sensitive background checks, fingerprinting, and credentialing requirements per district and legal guidelines (House Bill 486)
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and consultations Contribute to IEP development and participate in eligibility and review meetings Offer expertise in the development and implementation of data-driven interventions Serve as a resource and advocate for students, staff, and families Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with federal, state, and district requirements Adjust to caseload and assignments as necessary across one or more campuses This position offers a contract running from August through mid-June, enabling you to immerse yourself in the school community while positively influencing young lives.
