School Psychologist in Towson, MD Soliant - 3.9 Towson, MD Job Details Contract $42.02 - $62.02 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a vital, rewarding role supporting student growth as a School Psychologist in the Baltimore area. This on-site contract position spans the 2026-2027 school year, starting in late August and ending in mid-June, offering the chance to make a lasting impact within a dynamic school environment. In this position, you will work approximately 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with dedicated educators and parents to foster student achievement and well-being. Your expertise in school psychology will help shape positive, supportive learning experiences for students, giving you the opportunity to see your efforts come to life every day.
Qualifications & Credentials:
Master's or PhD in School Psychology Valid Maryland certification or state licensure as a School Psychologist Ability to complete all district-specific credentialing and background checks, including those required by House Bill 486 (background check, fingerprinting, employment history review) Readiness to participate in a prescreen interview to ensure the right fit for the district and the role
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret data to guide student support plans Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to develop intervention strategies Support students across various grade levels (caseload and schools assigned TBD) Promote safe, inclusive learning environments through crisis management and preventive programs Provide counseling, consultation, and recommendations for students' academic, behavioral, and emotional needs This assignment enables you to be immersed in a collaborative, mission-driven setting where every day brings new opportunities to help students reach their full potential.
