Middle School Elementary School Psychologist - Dearborn, Michigan Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Dearborn, MI Job Details Contract 9 hours ago Qualifications Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Support student success and well-being by stepping into a dynamic school psychologist role in a contract position serving elementary, middle, and high school students. Your expertise will have a meaningful impact across various age groups, providing essential services within a collaborative educational environment.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in School Psychology or a related field Current, valid Michigan School Psychologist license Strong background working in elementary, middle, and/or high school settings Ability to perform a comprehensive range of assessments (academic, social, and behavioral) Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities Compassionate, culturally aware approach to supporting students, staff, and families Experience consulting with educators and participating in multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations to assess learning, social, and behavioral areas of concern Develop and recommend intervention strategies tailored to individual and group needs Help create and implement IEPs, 504 plans, and crisis interventions as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop supportive educational plans Offer counseling, guidance, and support for at-risk or struggling students Participate in team meetings and contribute expert insights to foster inclusive learning environments Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines If you are ready to make a difference and partner with school communities to help students thrive, this role offers a fulfilling opportunity to apply your clinical and consultative skills.
