Job Description
Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school psychologist opportunity is available in Dearborn, MI, to provide essential psychological services and support within an educational setting. The role focuses on collaborating with educators, families, and students to assess needs, develop effective intervention plans, and promote overall mental health and well-being throughout the school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create tailored intervention strategies Provide counseling and crisis support as needed to foster a positive learning environment Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address student needs and progress Maintain detailed records and ensure confidentiality in compliance with regulationsQualifications and Experience:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred Strong skills in student assessment, intervention planning, and psychological support Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse groups Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentPosition Details:
Location:
