Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding school-based position where your expertise as a School Psychologist supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This part-time contract opportunity (20 hours per week) offers the chance to serve as an itinerant resource, working across school sites and engaging with diverse learners while making a significant difference. Your work will focus on implementing Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations, and collaborating with educators and families at IEP meetings. The environment is dynamic and collaborative, providing a platform for your skills to truly shine.
Ideal candidates bring:
Current Michigan School Psychologist certification Experience working with K-12 students in school settings Strong background in administering assessments and writing evaluation reports Familiarity with MTSS and evidence-based intervention strategies Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive school communities As part of this role, responsibilities will include: Traveling between schools to provide psychological services Leading and participating in IEP meetings and team collaborations Implementing, monitoring, and refining MTSS interventions Conducting psychoeducational evaluations and interpreting results Supporting teachers and staff with strategies for student success This position compensates between $50 and $55 per hour and includes eligibility for healthcare benefits, along with options for housing and meals/incidentals—allowing you to focus on your work and students with peace of mind.
