School Psychologist | Eastpointe, Michigan Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Eastpointe, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time | Contract 1 day ago Qualifications School experience Special education assessments Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Key Qualifications:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate (required) Experience conducting cognitive and developmental assessments Familiarity with special education evaluation processes Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to participate in or lead multidisciplinary meetings
What You'll Do:
Administer assessments to identify student needs in attention, adaptive skill development, behavioral support, autism, and related areas Collaborate with evaluation team members on initial and re-evaluations Provide expertise in cognitive testing and developmental assessments for eligibility determinations Work closely with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams to recommend special education referrals as appropriate Actively participate in Functional Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavior Support Plan meetings Lead both initial evaluation meetings and selected re-evaluations Contribute to Manifestation Determination Reviews to help guide student-centered decisions Stepping into this role, you'll be valued for your specialized skills and commitment to supporting the whole child.
