Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting K-12 students in an urban district near Flint, MI for the 2026-2027 school year (August 17 - June 11). This role offers onsite engagement, where you'll make a real impact through early identification, intervention, and comprehensive support for students with mild to moderate disabilities. With a manageable caseload of approximately 60 students and 35 hours per week, you'll use your expertise to foster success among students facing academic, social, and emotional challenges.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Current Michigan School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required Official university transcripts must be provided prior to district presentation Background in school psychology, preferably within urban settings; previous agency or K-12 experience preferred Strong understanding of special education practices, particularly Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and related IDEA federal regulations Skilled at communicating psychological findings clearly to families, teachers, and administrators Comfort and adaptability working within urban school communities
Key Responsibilities:
