Desired Qualifications:
MI School Psychologist Certification or Preliminary School Psychologist Certification required Official university transcripts (must be provided prior to placement) Previous school psychology or agency experience preferred Comfort and interest in serving urban student populations Understanding of
MARSE/IDEA
special education regulations (see supplemental guidelines) Willingness to work onsite (no remote/VOCO options)
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities Collaborate on early intervention processes and support system planning Communicate assessment findings and recommendations to families and educators Participate in professional development, policy implementation, and multidisciplinary teamwork Uphold consistent special education policies across multiple school buildings
