Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year in the Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit areas. As a valued specialist, you will deliver comprehensive services across approximately 60-student caseloads, working exclusively onsite in an urban educational setting. Your expertise will be instrumental in early intervention, assessment, and ongoing collaboration within a diverse student population with mild to moderate disabilities.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification OR Preliminary School Psychologist Certification Official university transcripts (must be provided before district submission) Prior experience in school psychology or similar agency settings is preferred Deep understanding of Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education (MARSE) and related IDEA federal regulations is advantageous Commitment to serving urban communities and awareness of the unique challenges these students and their families may face Strong skills in developing rapport, communicating psychological findings clearly, and fostering teamwork
