Elementary High School School Psychologist | Grandville, Michigan Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Grandville, MI Job Details Contract 18 hours ago Qualifications School experience Practicing as a school psychologist Full Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an engaging and rewarding position supporting students in elementary, middle, and high schools as a dedicated School Psychologist. In this contract role, you'll play a vital part in fostering positive educational and emotional outcomes for learners of all ages.
What We're Looking For:
Master's degree in School Psychology or a closely related field. Active Michigan School Psychologist licensure required. Experience working with diverse student populations at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Outstanding communication and consultation skills. Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education laws, and best practices in educational psychology. Effective at collaborating with teachers, parents, and support staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations. Provide crisis intervention and support services for students. Develop and implement interventions to promote student success and wellbeing. Serve as a resource for teachers and staff in creating effective learning environments. Act as a key member of multidisciplinary teams in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Coordinate services and consultations to address behavioral, social, and emotional needs. Keep thorough documentation and comply with district and state reporting standards. Employ data-driven approaches to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
