Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an impact by helping students succeed as a School Psychologist for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This onsite contract opportunity offers the chance to support learners ranging from preschool through 12th grade, conducting special education evaluations and playing a vital role in collaborative educational teams. You'll interact with multidisciplinary professionals, families, and school staff to assess needs, promote student well-being, and ensure compliance with all special education requirements and timelines.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree (or higher) in School Psychology from an accredited program Current approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist Prior experience conducting special education evaluations for a diverse student population is highly valued Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Flexibility to adjust responsibilities as needed to support students and staffPrimary Responsibilities:
Deliver psychological services, including assessments and consultations, to students in preschool through 12th grade Complete special education evaluations, including eligibility assessments and related documentation Participate as an active member of multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student support plans Collaborate with district personnel and families to promote positive educational outcomes Stay current with special education laws, procedures, and reporting requirements Responsively adjust caseload assignments or duties as district needs evolve This position provides a rewarding opportunity to be at the forefront of student support and advocacy.
