Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic techniques. This role involves providing psychological assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering psychotherapy to individuals across diverse populations, including those with addiction issues and geriatric patients. The Psychologist will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental well-being of clients through evidence-based practices. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual and group psychotherapy, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities. Offer addiction counseling to support clients in overcoming substance use disorders. Work with geriatric patients to address age-related psychological concerns and improve their quality of life. Supervise and mentor junior staff or interns, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Engage in mental health counseling for individuals with autism, tailoring approaches to meet their unique needs. Participate in inpatient treatment programs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience A Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) from an accredited institution is required. Valid state licensure to practice psychology is essential. Proven experience in clinical counseling, psychotherapy, and patient assessment is highly desirable. Familiarity with addiction counseling techniques and working with geriatric populations is a plus. Experience implementing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic modalities is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations are essential for success in this role.
