What you'll bring: Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (required) Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting, especially at the elementary level Proficiency in conducting evaluations and re-evaluations using approved protocols Strong ability to participate actively in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings Skills in crisis intervention and providing immediate support when necessary Compassion, strong communication, and a spirit of collaboration with educators, students, and families What you'll do: Carry a caseload focusing on elementary-level students' needs Administer and interpret a variety of standardized assessments for initial and re-evaluations Collaborate as a member of MTSS teams to develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding student concerns and behavioral challenges Participate in crisis intervention efforts to ensure student safety and well-being Assist with IEP development in compliance with state and federal regulations As part of this contract position, compensation will range from $45/hr to $55/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
